Akava Special Branches offers career services for its members. These career services offer counselling in issues concerning job hunting, career planning and developing skills in your own job. Counselling is available, for example, in the following fields:

• job hunting (successful job seeking practices, applications, CV and interviews)
• career planning (strengths, goals, selection situations, entrepreneurship, further studies, going abroad, well-being at work, combining work and personal life)
• developing skills in your own job (development discussions, rationalisation for a pay rise, changing work tasks, enriching your work task)

The counselling is carried out over the phone or Internet. Career counselling is free for members. Your discussions with your coach are confidential.

You will need your membership number when making an appointment with a coach! You can find your membership number on your membership card or phone the union to ask.

Our international network facilitates recruitment and job applications on five continents. You can search for the latest job openings in sectors that come under Akava Special Branches and choose the sector and geographic location you want. You can also submit your CV and request email on the latest job openings in your field.
