Membership fee exemption

You can be exempted from paying the membership fee if you are

• on maternity or child care leave, if you only receive a KELA allowance
• unemployed and you only receive a KELA allowance
• a student, and you do not accumulate the required length of employment
• on sick leave and you receive, for instance, a KELA allowance
• on unpaid leave
