Membership fee for self-employed people and entrepreneurs

The membership fee for self-employed people amounts to 180 euros a year. If you joined the union or started a company after 1 July, your membership fee for the first year is 95 euros.
 

Self-employed people and entrepreneurs must handle their unemployment security separately. They can do this through the Unemployment Fund for Entrepreneurs and the Self-Employed, the AYT Fund, or by remaining a member of the Unemployment Fund for the Specially Trained (ERKO) for a so-called protection period during which time the fee for being a member of the above-mentioned unemployment fund is not deducted from the union membership fee.
