Safeguarding Akava members’ interests
  

Akava Special Branches safeguards the interests of its members by exerting an influence within Akava – the Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland and the negotiating bodies that operate within its sphere. As the seventh largest member union of Akava, Akava Special Branches has representation in the key bodies of the central organisation. The union participates in public sector collective agreement negotiations through the Negotiation Organisation for Public Sector Professionals JUKO. Akava Special Branches exerts an influence within the private sector through the Experts and Managerial Professionals Association YTN. Akava Special Branches is a member of both negotiating bodies.
