Collective agreement for the central government
We represent approximately 3,000 employees in central government. They work in specialist and supervisory roles in various parts of the central government.
Our members in the central government sector are mainly within the scope of the central government’s collective agreements.
Our members are represented in negotiations by the Negotiation Organisation for Public Sector Professionals JUKO, in which we work for fair terms of employment and fair pay in the occupations we represent.
You can influence the development of collective agreements and our negotiation goals through your member organisation. In Akava Special Branches, lobbying in the central government sector is coordinated by the central government sector advisory board, in which the member organisations have representation.
In the central government sector, our members are organised into several different member organisations. The largest number of members work in the Ministry of Education’s administrative branch: in the Ministry of Education, the National Agency for Education and other agencies in the administrative branch. Our members typically work in administration, planning, information management, communications and the field of languages.
