Rules of procedure of the Working Committee

Responsibilities and decision-making authority:
- acts as a preparatory body under the Board of Directors
- organisational matters:
- develops

- decide on purchases in accordance with the financial rules

- The union’s office/personnel matters:
- appoints permanent officers, subject to separate authorisation by the Board of Directors
- subject to separate authorisation by the Board of Directors, confirms the terms of service and employment of the personnel, with the exception of the Executive Director, in whose case the decision-making authority is exercised by the Board of Directors
- confirms the rules of procedure of the Union’s operational management team
- decides on personnel-related matters for which the operational supervisors have insufficient decision-making authorisation
- grants the annual holiday of the Executive Director
- appointments and representations:
- appoints the Union’s representations
- appoints the Union’s regional groups and regional secretaries
- makes changes in representatives in bodies under the Board of Directors during the term of office
- makes decisions on recognitions and honours
- The Working Committee reports on its activities to the Board of Directors in accordance with the instructions of the Board of Directors
